Wrap Around Care

We are extremely proud of the high-quality standard of care we deliver in both our Breakfast and After School Clubs. We are passionate about creating opportunities for school age children to play, explore, make friends and have fun, all whilst remaining safe and secure in a relaxed environment. Whether your child wishes to sit quietly and read a book, enjoy some creative time or play with their friends inside or outside, our amazingly highly skilled team of play workers will accommodate their needs and help them enjoy their time at CC’s Out of School.

Our settings and the delivery and collection of children:

Our Bishop Luffa setting currently serves Parklands Community Primary School, Jessie Younghusband School and Rumboldswhyke Primary School. Those children attending Parklands Primary School use our fully risk assessed the walking bus system. They walk to and from school in pairs with accompanying staff and younger children wear Hi Vis waistcoats along with all staff so that they are all clearly visible at any given time. They walk along our risk assessed route, carry first aid supplies and a company mobile telephone. We work on a ratio of 8 children to 1 adult whilst using the walking bus.

Children attending Jessie Younghusband School and Rumboldswhyke Primary School are transferred to/collected from their respective school in either the company MPV or a Directors car. All vehicles are fully insured, regularly maintained, regularly serviced and covered by breakdown services. The routes taken are again, fully risk assessed and the vehicles are equipped with company mobile phones and first aid supplies suitable for carrying passengers.

Our Fishbourne setting currently only serves Fishbourne School pupils. Breakfast Club operates from inside the school and therefore all children are escorted internally to their classrooms. After School Club is operating from our Bishop Luffa setting and all Fishbourne children are transferred in either the company MPV or a Directors car. All vehicles are fully insured, regularly maintained, regularly serviced and covered by breakdown services. The routes taken are fully risk assessed and the vehicles are equipped with company mobile phones and first aid supplies suitable for carrying passengers. Children will be collected from Bishop Luffa by parents/carers at the end of their session.
